As our Claims Technical Learning Lead, you’ll play a key role in lifting technical capability across Enterprise Claims. Sitting within the People Team and our Technical Learning Chapter you will strengthen claims expertise, support career pathways, and build the skills our people need to deliver great outcomes for customers.

 

You’ll partner closely with claims leaders and subject matter experts to design learning that is practical, engaging, and future focused. Your work will directly support our transformation agenda, embedding modern, digital learning practices, and fostering a strong culture of continuous improvement across Claims.

 

You will also be responsible for the following:

 

  • Designing and facilitating onboarding experiences for new claims employees in partnership with subject matter experts.
  • Strengthening and embedding the Claims Career Framework to support capability uplift and career progression.
  • Coaching leaders to embed behaviour change aligned to ways of working and operational excellence.
  • Coordinating and delivering technical learning programs aligned to business priorities.
  • Developing and maintaining high quality learning resources, including digital and system-based content.
  • Championing a digital mindset to continuously improve learning practices across Claims.

You’re someone who thrives on collaboration, brings curiosity to how learning can make a real difference, and is comfortable influencing across a broad range of stakeholders. You balance structure with creativity, and you’re motivated by seeing people grow in confidence and capability.

 

In order to be successful, you will have the following:

 

  • Experience working within insurance, with a strong understanding of technical insurance concepts. Life insurance experience advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in learning and development or technical capability uplift roles.
  • Experience designing and delivering structured learning programs for diverse audiences.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems and Articulate 360, highly regarded.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capability across multiple levels.
  • A proactive, analytical approach with strong attention to detail
